“THE GREEN HORNET” Movie Trailer
Seth Rogan is The Green Hornet in this update of the radio and t.v. hero. Rogan is Britt Reid, the wild son of a media tycoon. But after his father is mysteriously murdered, he inheirits a vast wealth. With a lot of money and no credibility, Reid must team up with the industious martial arts expert Kato (Jay Chou) and take the path of vigilante to solve and avenge his father’s murder. Co – starring Cameron Diaz, Edward James Olmos, Christoph Waltz, Edward Furlong and Tom Wilkinson. The Green Hornet hits theatres January 14, 2011.
“CHARLIE ST. CLOUD” Movie Trailer
Zac Efron stars as title character Charlie St. Cloud who survives a fatal car crash that kills his younger brother Sam. When Charlie is resuscitated and his brother is killed, he soon discovers that he can now see the dead and when Sam returns to get Charlie to fulfill a vow will his little brother let him go to follow his heart? Now I’m not a Zac Efron fan, but this story is deeper than the trailer lets on…Themes that everyone who understands loss will relate to.
Based on the inspiring 2004 novel, “The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud” written by Ben Sherwood. Starring Zac Efron, Kim Bassinger, Ray Liotta, Chris Massoglia & Amanda Crew and directed by Burr Steers. Charlie St. Cloud is set for a July 30, 2010 release.
“INCEPTION” Movie Trailer
Christopher Nolan‘s summer film looks to be a mind-bending thrill-ride about the world of the subconscious. Leonardo DiCaprio leads the way through the ever evolving and changing landscape of the mind, and when dealing with the mind…anything can happen and sky is the limit. Chrisopher Nolan is one of those great directors with an incredible knack of making really cool films with interesting subject matter and assembling some of the finest actors to fill in the supporting characters. This is my second pick to see this summer in IMAX. Inception opens on July 16, 2010.
Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Ken Wattanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berrenger and Michael Caine.

When he moves his family into the unfinished subdivision the shenanigans begin. It’s Man VS Nature and Fraser is stuck on the losing end of this epic struggle and will no doubt learn a lesson or two about respecting the planet and the co-habitating creatures that we share our existence with.

Katherine Keener & Oliver Platt star in this comedy/drama about married couple Kate and Alex who own a business where she and Alex buy furniture from estates for a fraction of the price they sell it for in their trendy store. Michael Caine stars as Harry Brown, an Irish veteran and senior citizen living in a London neighbourhood who just keeps to himself amid the senseless violence that surrounds him. Brian Cox stars in Magn0lia Pictures indie about a bar owner named Jacques who caters to a bunch of down-and-out bar stars from yesteryear. Tired of life in general, Jacques suffers a heart-attack and while in hospital meets a kindred spirit in Lucas (Paul Dano), a young man who has given up on life himself. Determined to groom Lucas to be his successor, Jacques begins Lucas’ training on the rules of his well established world until the beautiful and troubled April enters the scene and begins to stir some life back into the young Lucas. Limited release in New York and California.
Directed by Samuel Bayer
New Line Cinema & Platinum Dunes resurrection of the popular 80′s franchise. This time around Jackie Earle Haley dons the fedora and scars (er, stars) as the gloved-one, Freddy Kruger. This re-boot again follows the original 1984 film; telling the tale of how vigilante justice takes care of child murderers and is usually pretty fool-proof, providing the monster in question doesn’t return from the grave to exact sweet revenge. In a case of mind-over-matter, Elm Street teens must either resist the need to sleep or fight for their lives in Kruger’s nightmarish dreamscape.
MY RECOMMENDATION:
“Harry Brown” Movie Trailer
2 – time Best Supporting Actor Academy Award Winner (Hannah and Her Sisters & The Cider House Rules) and legit screen acting legend, Michael Caine is the title character Harry Brown, an ordinary law – abiding British senior citizen who gets pushed too far. In a London neighbourhood, where drugs and violence are rampant, not even the elderly are safe from the criminals who now run the streets.
Michael Caine hAs been building a resume of incredible character – driven films his entire career and this one is probably going to get him yet another Oscar nomination, but for Actor in a Lead Role. Harry Brown is out April 30, 2010.
