When 14 year o ld Mattie Ross’s father is killed at the hands of drifter Tom Chaney, young Mattie enlists the help of “Rooster” Cogburn to embark on a journey to serve “justice” in the form of vengence.

Oscar winner Jeff Bridges fills The Duke’s boots as whiskey -  loving U.S. Marshal “Rooster” Cogburn, Matt Damon as La Boeuf, Josh Brolin as Tom Chaney, Barry Pepper as “Lucky” Ned Pepper and Hailee Steinfeld as Mattie Ross.  True Grit opens this Christmas Day: December 25, 2010.
